Between moving and trying to keep up with my reading and writing goals for the month, it was a pleasant surprise to see my blog tagged for this:) I’m not sure how many answers I’ll have because I’m slightly bad with remembering books and its only recently that I have started book journaling, but I’m going to give this shot anyway. So thanks Sahi @ My World of Books for tagging me! 🙂 Do check out her blog for some interesting tags, reviews and book recommendations for your TBR.

ZEUS: KING OF THE GODS – YOUR FAVOURITE BOOK
Like all book lover’s dilemma, this is probably one of the toughest questions to answer. I have so many old and new favorites, but The Hitchhiker’s Guide stands out because of its humor, content and absurd storyline that actually makes a lot of sense! I do have to say that this book may not be for everyone. So read it with an open mind please. And don’t panic! LOL 😀
HERA: QUEEN OF THE GODS – A BADASS FEMALE CHARACTER
It was a competition between many of my favorite female characters and trust me there are many- Nancy Drew, Jo, Liz Bennett, Anne Shirley, Lisbeth Salander.. But I have to say, that Hermoine Granger takes the crown for this one. She is intelligent, loyal and fierce. That scene when she punches Draco in the face in Prisoner of Azkaban- just sealed the deal as her being the best badass female character I’ve read about 🙂
JANUS: GOD OF BEGINNINGS – YOUR FAVOURITE DEBUT(S)
I have just recently started reading a lot of debuts, but they’re mostly based on recommendations from fellow friends. This particular one- Eleanor Elephant is Completely Fine stood out the most to me, amongst all the debuts I have read in the past two years. I will recommend it to anyone and everyone.
ATHENA: GODDESS OF WISDOM – YOUR FAVOURITE NON-FICTION BOOK
Hands down the best, absolutely best non fiction I have read till date. It is so relevant and so simply written, that I think everyone should read Yuval’s book on what our history actually is and where we are heading towards. I have also read his third book, and own his sequel to Sapiens. Let’s just say, I’m a huge fan now 🙂
APHRODITE: GODDESS OF LOVE – A BOOK YOU ADORE AND RECOMMEND EVERYONE READ (OTHER THAN YOUR FAVOURITE BOOK!)
I wanted to recommend Anne of Green Gables and A Gentleman in Moscow because both these books have amazing characters who have so much strength and positivity in the face of extreme adversity or ill luck, that you can-not read these books and come out with a smile and a lot of positive outlook to life. Nothing can seem unconquerable after being led by these heroes 🙂
HADES: GOD OF THE UNDERWORLD – AN EVIL BOOK YOU WISH DIDN’T EXIST
Umm, I have read my fair share of disappointing books, but it is hard for me to condemn a book these days because I’m realizing how hard it is to write 50K words that make sense and that someone would want to read! hehe So I’ll skip this one.
POSEIDON: GOD OF THE SEA & EARTHQUAKES – A BEAUTIFUL & GROUND-BREAKING BOOK

I had read this book as the last book of 2017 and was bowled over. This book is written in multiple POVs and spans across three generations of stories about racism and family lineage. I loved the book and think it was something very different from what I had read in a long time.
APOLLO: GOD OF THE ARTS – A BEAUTIFUL BOOK COVER
I was desperately looking to own the book that had this cover, but I had to make do with the UK edition. That has a beautiful blue cover too, but isn’t the US version cover really beautiful?! I thought the book would be a perfect halloween read too. I’m waiting for the sequel to be out in 2019 I think.
HYPNOS: GOD OF SLEEP – A BOOK SO BORING YOU ALMOST FELL ASLEEP
I’m not a big fan of non fiction, but every now and then I pick up a self help book on a certain subject. But this book was so boring, not because it was written in a complex manner, but because of the content. I know many people just love and adore this book, but I probably wasn’t in the right frame of mind when I read it. I don’t know the reason, but I was really bored by this book.
HERMES: MESSENGER OF THE GODS – A BOOK YOU SPED THROUGH
I recently read this book and found it a very fast and easy read. Also, not to mention that it was a fun read about three women, feminism and the impact social media can sometimes have on our lives.
