Loved this book, just like I loved ‘We should all be feminists’. Now this is a book you can read in an hour, if you want to up your reading goals/count- so that is an added benefit!

I am a feminist. I also admire Adichie and her views on feminism, just like I admire Roxanne Gay, because these women talk about equality in the true sense of the word. It is as simple as that. I can’t review the book because it consists of 15 short passages from a letter the author wrote to her friend- and how does one review a letter? I don’t think one can. It is a letter, heartfelt, personal and yet a letter that can be read by all of us, and that can teach us all a thing or two about equality, without drowning in too many technical details:)

So, with that, I’ll make this post really short and sweet and I hope you enjoyed my two cents of a review for this one..hehe. With this, I completed ‘A book you can read in a day‘ category from Modern Mrs Darcy’s 2018 reading challenge! Woo hoo! So, are you a feminist? And unapologetic about it? If you are- we can be friends! hahah
